An Evening With Barbara Taylor Sissel

Join us for an engaging evening with Barbara Taylor Sissel, Author as she debuts her newest book release this August: Crooked Little Lies! Barbara Taylor Sissel writes issue oriented fiction threaded with elements of suspense and defined by a particular emphasis on how crime affects family. She is the author of five other novels: THE LAST INNOCENT HOUR, THE NINTH STEP, THE VOLUNTEER, EVIDENCE OF LIFE, and SAFE KEEPING.

Can’t wait for the book to hit the shelves in the next few weeks? Chosen as a Kindle First Pick, Amazon Prime members can enjoy the early release of Crooked Little Lies on Kindle for FREE at: http://www.amazon.com/Crooked-Little-Barbara-Taylor-Sissel-ebook/dp/B00TJ4XMJO

Want a chance to be entered in a raffle for one of three gift baskets? Bring a new or gently used book to be donated to the Library. The library really needs good YA, children’s, Spanish literature, and Sci fi/Fantasy to add to their shelves! Each basket will have copies of Crooked Little Lies and two other novels, Amazon gift cards, and goods and services donated by Sugar Streak and LillyBelle Therapies!

About the Author:

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Barbara was raised in various locations across the Midwest and once lived on the grounds of a first offender prison facility, where her husband was a deputy warden. The experience–interacting with the inmates, their families, and the people who worked with them–made a profound impression and provided her with a unique insight into the circumstances of the crimes that were committed and the often surprising ways the justice system moved to deal with them.

An avid gardener, Barbara has two sons and lives on a farm in the Texas Hill Country, outside Austin.
