Upcoming Events

We’re excited to announce our next Night of Poetry, September 20th at 7pm.   Our featured poets will be Erica Granadas and Morgan Larson.  For more information, please click on our Event Announcement: Poetry Night.

Additionally, we will be having a clothing drive benefiting victims of sexual assault from September 11 – October 3rd.   For more information, please click the following link:  Clothing Drive.

Finally, don’t forget that it will soon be North Texas Giving Day.  Come see us on the 17th in front of Avoca.  Rumor has it that some of us will dress up as book characters.

Did you know that North Texas has a day set aside for giving to your favorite Non-Profits?   We’re excited to be participating this year, as it’s been proven that North Texans are very generous.

This is an all volunteer and donation based library, and we wouldn’t be able to function with the support and donations from our neighborhood and the surrounding community.  We’re hoping that you’ll remember us on September 17th.  The reason this date is so important to us is because your donations will be amplified by more than $1.5 million dollars in bonus funds and prizes which will be distributed amongst all participating Non-Profits.

Your donation might help us purchase new books for the children’s library, new software for the computers, or even tutoring supplies.  It’s also been our dream to be able to offer GED classes as well as adult ESL classes.
