This month’s Poetry Night has two featured authors, followed by our usual open mic time. Join us and share the spoken word Sunday, July 12th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
Gayle Reaves-King is a Texas native who lives in Fort Worth, where she is a journalist by day. Her poems have been published in Illya’s Honey and Red River Review and in anthologies published by Rebel Poetry of Ireland. This year her chapbook Spectral Analysis was published by the Dallas Poets Community after it was named runner-up in that group’s chapbook contest. She’s part of the brain trust at Pandora’s Box Poetry Showcase. A member of the Writer’s Garret in Dallas, she owes a lot to her fellow members of the Stone Soup peer review group. She is currently working with co-authors on two nonfiction books, which she will happily describe to anyone interested. Learn more about this amazing poet here: Gayle Reaves-King
