We are having a supply drive to benefit Good Neighbors Animal Rescue beginning May 23rd and lasting to May 30th. GNAR is a Non-Profit located in Fairmount and help keep animals out of shelters by promoting fostering. As a new Non-Profit, they are in need of a lot of items.
Please drop off items at the library (1310 W. Allen) during library hours. Our hours are Monday and Wednesday 12-4; Tuesday and Thursday 3 – 7, and Saturday 12 – 6. We ask that you not leave items in front of the building, however small items may be dropped in the book slot at any time.
Items needed include:
- paper towels
- old bath towels or small rugs
- high sided small plastic boxes or pans for litter boxes
- plastic grocery bags
- newspapers
- dog and cat crates or carriers
- dog and cat food (canned ProPlan and Science Diet dry)
- topical or collar flea control (especially kittens)
- monetary donations for vaccines and other vetting needs
